WWW Wednesday – 25/3/20

Happy Wednesday!

Its that time of the Week again! This week has been just as crazy as the last as my colleagues get settled into working from home (for me this is week 3) and we are all trying to hold various meetings over Teams, showing off my array of comfy jumpers that usually only get worn at home while I am buried in my reading nook.

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme that was revived by Taking on a World of Words. I like it cause it is fairly simple but allows me to check in with my reading but also with you!

Series Red Rising Saga #1

I am finally getting to this, despite it being in my read next section of a WWW post I think 2/3 weeks ago. I am 4/5 chapters in and really enjoying it. The world building is really interesting and unusual.

Title The Near Witch
Author V.E.Schwab

I finished this last night and it was entertaining but I have yet to put together my full thoughts on it. I did like the classic fairy tale aspect and you could tell this was a Schwab book, just not my favourite of hers. I loved the short story included with this special edition.

Author A.J. Hackworth

I am reading this for The bookie trails royal weekender so will be starting it on Saturday. I have been looking forward to reading this for a while and I am glad I am able to make time for it this weekend.
