WWW Wednesday 2/9/20

Happy Wednesday!

Its September! Half the time it feels like this year is dragging the other half seems to have disappeared. I am very excited for September. There are SO many amazing books coming out over the next month and into October. The days are getting colder, the nights are getting longer. soon it will be chunky jumper weather!

I had a great reading month in August I have met my Goodreads goal of 100 books already!

And I haven’t even started some of my most anticipated books of the year! Roll on the cosy reading nights filled with blankets, hot chocolate and good books.

Its that time of the Week again! WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme that was revived by Taking on a World of Words. I like it cause it is fairly simple but allows me to check in with my reading but also with you!

WWW Wednesday asks just three questions:

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?

WHAT BOOK HAVE YOU RECENTLY FINISHED?

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU WILL READ NEXT?

Clockwork Prince
Cassandra Clare

Infernal Devices #2

Shadowhunter Saturday

I decided to make a head start on my buddy reads and group books. I also really wanted to know how the cliffhanger from Clockwork Angel. Ellie and I will be posting out thoughts in full on our next Shadownhunter Saturday, the 12th of September. While this is suffering a little from the Cassie Clare slow start, we have had a couple of major plot points already so hopefully it will pick up speed and I will be flying through this in no time!

The Inheritance Games
Jennier Lynn Barnes

ARC/The Write Reads Ultimate Blog tour

If you haven’t heard of this book yet, where have you been? This book is probably going to explode all over your timelines in the next few days and the hype is worth it. I really really enjoyed this twisty YA mystery. It is officially released in the UK on the 3rd of September and my turn on Tour is on the 4th so keep your eyes out for my review. Warning this did give me a slight book hangover for a couple of days!

Chilling Effect
Valerie Valdes

eARC/Re-read

I need to finish my re-read/review read of Chilling effect so I can go on to read the ARC of Prime Deceptions, the second book in this sci-fi series. Prime Deceptions is released later this month so I need to get my but in gear and finish them both. I re-started Chilling effect last month and love the humour and the characters so I am hoping i will finish this quickly and move straight onto Prime Deceptions

So that is my WWW post for this week. I will see you next Wednesday to update you. What are you reading this week? Have you finished anything lately you loved?

I would love to chat all things bookish with you! You can comment down below or find me on Twitter or Goodreads!

Happy Reading!

  1. Wow, Fiona, that’s so great with your Goodreads Goal. I’m also far ahead and having such a good reading year. 🙂
I love the cover of Chilling Effect. I mean, are those cats in space suits? Also, I’ve been meaning to read more science fiction and….nooooo, what are you doing? I should read more books from my tbr, not adding to it!!!
