Wow we are past the midway point of Tome Topple and its been a great week of reading so far. As expected my TBR has changed quiet a bit as some books have had to be returned to the library and others have come into my possession. So, I thought I would do a bit of an update and let you see the reading stats so far!
Progress so far
Tomes Completed: 2
I have completed both Before the devil breaks you by Libba Bray and A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness. Both were enjoyable reads earning 4 and 3 Stars respectively.
Pages Read: To date I have read a total of 1,484 Pages! This works out at an impressive average of 212 pages per day. Most of my reading is done on my commute I have just under 3 hour of time on trains each day so I get some great focused reading time. I also was able to switch between ebook and audiobook for Before the Devil breaks you, thanks to my local library, so i was able to keep reading even while working.

I am currently about 50% (page 252) of the way though The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton and WOW is this book good. I have almost ended up missing my train stops as I don’t want to put it down. It is defiantly in the running for being a five star book if not one of my favourite reads of the year.
I was looking for another book I could access the in both audio and ebook/physical form. I recently subscribed to Scribd and found The Last Magician by Lisa Maxwell, which has been on my Goodreads “Want to read” shelf for a while. I will be starting the audio today at work! I am hoping to get both of these books finished this weekend leaving next week free for even more books!
TBR Changes:
Unfortunately, Kings of the Wyld had to be returned to the library before i managed to get to it, I also have not been in the mood to tackle the massive size of Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell so I have cut these from my TBR.
Therefore, next week I am hoping to get my reread an annotation of A Gathering of Shadows by V.E.Schwab. I think this should nicely wrap up my Tome topple.
