First Wednesday of a new month is always fun lots of exciting new books on the TBR. It has been a bit of a slow start for me this month I have jumped around many different books but have yet to finish any. I am taking it slow I am sure it will pick up on the upcoming holiday weekend.

There is a bit of confusion as to when this is actually coming out. I started reading it as it is one of my only May ARCs that had not been pushed back but it seems it might now be. However, I am loving this. It is one of those books that just hooks you from the start with a great sassy MC, awesome world building. we are now getting into different perspectives and I am really intrigued to see how it all merges together.

Chronicles of St Mary’s book 6
AHHHH I LOVE THIS series. I just devour them. This is the last of the books that I own physically and you can be damn sure the next five will be winging there way to me asap. This one is just as exciting as the previous but as Max our MC has moved into a more supervisory role within st Mary’s and we have new trainee characters there is a nice shift in the story dynamic. I am really loving some of the new characters and what they add to the madness. I am nearly finished this one as they are just so easy to read.

With Tome Topple starting on Friday I think its time to dive into my big books for the month and try and get as many of them read as I can. Combine that with the Bank Holiday weekend and I am hoping this one will be done by sunday. I am currently doing the Elderlingalong which is a readalong that is working there way through Robin Hobbs Realm of the Elderling series. This is book 2 in the first trilogy. I really enjoyed book one and I can’t wait to find out what awaits Fitz in this one.

Oh, I think I still have the first of that Jodi Taylor series on my tbr. I remember starting it once and being irritated that there was not much of a common thread throughout the book? Is that possible? Either way, I hope you have great fun reading it. 🙂

Yeah they read a little like a monster of the week TV series (think Buffy or Castle where there is a new baddy every episode) lots of mini adventures per book but then there is an overall arc that comes together across the series.
