WWW Wednesday – 13/5/2020 – Fi's Bibliofiles

Its Wednesday again time to check in on the pas weeks reading. For me this week saw the start of Tome Topple, one of my favourite low key readathons focused on reading those big books on your TBR. I am also continuing to take part in Medieval-athon. I have only managed to read 3 books so far this month so in terms of Medieval-athon I am a Knight but none of them counted towards any clothing, weaponry or pets! So I need to get a move on on those prompts.

Mistoborn #1

I picked this up on the first day of tome topple (9th) and I have been really enjoying it. With around 200 pages left to read I am hoping I can power through and finish it tonight. if not tomorrow. I really adore Sanderson’s world building, his magic systems are immaculate and I am loving the characters too. There is a real heist feel to this book and we all know I adore a good heist.

What could possibly Go Wrong?

I finished this book last Friday and I miss my characters so much. I don’t currently own books 7-10 so I can’t dive straight into the next one but I think will will have to treat myself to them for my birthday (2nd June) so I can continue on with the Chronicles of St Mary’s.

Continuing on with both Tome Topple and the Elderlingalong readalong I am hoping to read this over the weekend. I am hoping I will love the continuation of Fitz’ story just as much as the first instalment. I know this was my next book last week but I wanted to catch up with the Final empire before the live show on the 16th so this read got pushed back.
