May is marching on, and I am not getting through my TBR as quickly as I had hoped. It is the last few days of Tomoe topple and I am making good progress on my TBR, but I am looking forward to diving back into some shorter high paced reads.
Happy Wednesday!
Its that time of the Week again! WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme that was revived by Taking on a World of Words. I like it cause it is fairly simple but allows me to check in with my reading but also with you!
WWW Wednesday asks just three questions:
WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?
WHAT BOOK HAVE YOU RECENTLY FINISHED?
WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU WILL READ NEXT?

Royal Assassin
Robin Hobb
The Farseer Trilogy #2
I had partially read some of this book before but again like the first book in the series I am much more invested this time round. The life of Fitz is really interesting both the court politics and those elements of war, Fitz’s love life and his magic all have there own interesting threads in this story. I am over half way through and while it is a slow read due to all the detail I am still hoping to finish it before the end of tome topple

The Final Empire
Brandon Sanderson
Mistborn #1
Damn Sanderson can write a book! I really really enjoyed this one. Such a fun mix of political machinations, a good old fashioned heist and high fantasy. The magic system is so interesting and the world building is extensive. I will be picking up the next one quickly as I need to know where we go next.

Guards! Guards!
Terry Pratchett
Discworld #8, City watch #1
I think after two long and heavy high fantasy books I need something a little lighter and Pratchett is perfect for that. I really enjoy Pratchett’s sense of humour and word play so I think I will probably zoom through this one. It is also my husband’s favourite sub-series of the discworld books so I am keen to get to it as I haven’t read the City watch series before.
So that is my WWW post for this week. I will see you next Wednesday to update you. What are you reading this week? Have you finished anything lately you loved?
I would love to chat all things bookish with you! You can comment down below or find me on Twitter or Goodreads!
Happy Reading!
