Its that time of the Week again! WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme that was revived by Taking on a World of Words. I like it cause it is fairly simple but allows me to check in with my reading but also with you!
WWW Wednesday asks just three questions:
WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?
WHAT BOOK HAVE YOU RECENTLY FINISHED?
WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU WILL READ NEXT?
Before The Coffee gets Cold
Before the coffee gets cold #1
I started this a long time ago, and was loving it, but I found it a very difficult read and I couldn’t tell if that was due to bad formatting or translation, so I decided to hold off on my review at the time till I could read a physical copy. I finally figured out that the random words in the middle of paragraphs was the door bell of the cafe! Seriously, I feel so silly. I was right it was the formatting and I am loving the story even more this time than i did the last time I picked this up. It is just so moving and beautiful and such a lovely uses of a time travel mechanic. I only have a few pages left and should have a review out soon as I got sent a beautiful finished copy of book 2.
Oh those last 50 pages! They completely changed my opinion of this book! I was enjoying it but those last few chapters really captured me, and ran away. It was such a whirlwind. I definitely can’t wait to pick up Clockwork Princess to find out what happens next. If you are interested in my full thoughts and what Ellie thought too the next Shadowhunter Saturday post is this week! On the 12th September
Before the Coffee Gets Cold: Tales from the Cafe
Finished copy from publisher
I was kindly gifted a gorgeous finished copy of this by the publisher (Picador) in exchange for an honest review. It is due for release on the 19th so I am on a bit of a time crunch to get this read and reviewed especially as I have a couple of other reads for that week too! If this is anything as sweet and special as book one I know i am going to enjoy it.
So that is my WWW post for this week. I will see you next Wednesday to update you. What are you reading this week? Have you finished anything lately you loved?
