WWW Wednesday – 4/11/20

Happy Wednesday!

Its NaNoWriMo month! Yes, I know I haven’t stopped talking about it but I promise I will be back to chatting all things books next month. NaNoWriMo has been going well I am slightly above target so far and I am hoping to keep it that way. I am also still getting some reading done. I have drastically cut my TBR for the month picking only a handful of books to focus on.

Its that time of the Week again! WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme that was revived by Taking on a World of Words. I like it cause it is fairly simple but allows me to check in with my reading but also with you!

WWW Wednesday asks just three questions:

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?

WHAT BOOK HAVE YOU RECENTLY FINISHED?

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU WILL READ NEXT?

Tilly and the map of Stories
Anna James

Pages and Co #3

I know I have already gone off TBR and picked something completely different. While I own a gorgeous hard cover of this I actually found the audio on Scribd while I was looking for something to listen to while I worked. I loved the first two books in this series so snapped up the third, its just nice to escape into Tilly’s adventures while I am shuffling large amounts of data around!

Kingdom of the Wicked
Kerri Maniscalco

eARC

It took me a while to actually finish this eARC and write the review. Thats because for a good long while my only thoughts were “Eh its ok”. It kind of sums up all my feelings about this book. I saw most of the twist coming, it lacked a lot of worldbuilding and the romance plot was lack lustre, but there were also some super interesting elements and it ended on a strong and intriguing note. I have a full review here but I am still just meh about it.

The Betrayals
Bridgett Collins

eARC

I need to start this. It is due out next week and I would like to have my review up on time. This is the second book from this author and I adored the first. I have heard that this is just as weird and wonderful so I am hoping to dive into it tonight once i have reached my wordcount for today.

So that is my WWW post for this week. I will see you next Wednesday to update you. What are you reading this week? Have you finished anything lately you loved?

I would love to chat all things bookish with you! You can comment down below or find me on Twitter or Goodreads!

Happy Reading!
