WWW Wednesday – 14/4/21

Happy Wednesday!

Its that time of the Week again! WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme that was revived by Taking on a World of Words. I like it cause it is fairly simple but allows me to check in with my reading but also with you!

WWW Wednesday asks just three questions:

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?

WHAT BOOK HAVE YOU RECENTLY FINISHED?

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU WILL READ NEXT?

Spellslinger #0.5

Check out my Thoughts while re-reading -Spellslinger for other reviews of this series

Ahhhhhh its here! and its early! This is one of my most anticipated reads of the year so far and of course I dived straight in as soon as I could. I didn’t get too far just a few chapters in (damn adult commitments) but I can already tell its going to be a fun read. This is a prequel to the Spellslinger series and follows the youth of Ferius Parfax who serves as Kellen’s reluctant mentor. She was one of my favourite characters and it is going to be fun to find out where all that sass came from.

My Review

This was a ridiculously cute book. I do occasionally like to pick up a contemporary just to vary up my reading and I am glad I got a chance to read Kate in Waiting. While I found it was lacking a little in excitement for my reading tastes it was still a fun and cute read. Its a nice palette cleanser book, to put you in a feel good mood.

The Murderbot Diaries #5

I am so lucky to have an eARC of Fugitive Telemetry book six in the murderbot novella series! So I need to get reading this one ASAP as Fugitive Telemetry is released at the end of this month. This is also the only full size novel in this series so far so I am extra excited! I adore the Murderbot diaries so much and I am excited for this one, especially after the wrap up of book four.

So that is my WWW post for this week. I will see you next Wednesday to update you. What are you reading this week? Have you finished anything lately you loved?

I would love to chat all things bookish with you! You can comment down below or find me on Twitter or Goodreads!

Happy Reading!

  1. I do not know anything about Spellslingers, but it looks like something I might enjoy. I’ll look into that! I’ve seen the blog tour for Kate in Waiting, but I am not completely sure if it is something for me. I’m putting off getting into Martha Wells, or at least All Systems Red since it’s such a short read, so I’m thinking that when I can I want to finish it in one sitting! But her stories definitely look like they are something for me!

Btw, I’ve nominated you for this little tag: https://readerandom.com/2021/04/14/the-blogger-recognition-award/
