WWW Wednesday – 28/4/21

This last Wednesday of April so the last reading update for this month. IT was a rocky start to the month but I have definitely got back into my reading stride. I have also officially reached 50% of my Goodreads goal and we are only 4 months into the year its kinda crazy! I might have to do a little round up of everything I have loved so far, but for now…

Happy Wednesday!

Its that time of the Week again! WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme that was revived by Taking on a World of Words. I like it cause it is fairly simple but allows me to check in with my reading but also with you!

WWW Wednesday asks just three questions:

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?

WHAT BOOK HAVE YOU RECENTLY FINISHED?

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU WILL READ NEXT?

The End of Men
Christina Sweeney-baird

SO far this has been a difficult read in two very different respects. Firstly, while it was written in 2018 it is about a deadly flu like pandemic and reading the initial ramp up read very close to home. The accounts of loosing loved ones within this book had me tearing up. This so far has made this book a stunning read. Then I got to my second difficulty. The Science. The science in this book took it from a 5 star read to a 3 star read in seconds. Its really frustrating as so far its really well written and I kind of wish Sweeney-Baird had not gone near the science. I will definitely explain more in my review which should be live tomorrow if I can finish this tonight.

Fugitive Telemetry
Martha Wells

Murderbot Diaries #6

My Review

Its a Murderbot book! Its a Murderbot Murder mystery book! Murderbot solves crimes now! need I say more……. I didn’t think so.

Honestly, I loved this one. You should read this series if you haven’t already.

Thing to do Before the End of the World
Emily Barr

The Write Reads Blog Tour

I am on the Blog tour for this early next month so I need to get a move on. As it is a holiday weekend I should be able to sit down and get this finished in that time. I am going into this with an open mind as I have seen some mixed reviews but hopefully it will be a little lighter than The End of Men.

So that is my WWW post for this week. I will see you next Wednesday to update you. What are you reading this week? Have you finished anything lately you loved?

I would love to chat all things bookish with you! You can comment down below or find me on Twitter or Goodreads!

Happy Reading!
