Happy Wednesday!
Its that time of the Week again! WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme that was revived by Taking on a World of Words. I like it cause it is fairly simple but allows me to check in with my reading but also with you!
WWW Wednesday asks just three questions:
WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?
WHAT BOOK HAVE YOU RECENTLY FINISHED?
WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU WILL READ NEXT?

Ace of Spades
Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé
eARC
Release: 10/6/21
I am really enjoying this. So far it is such a really well crafted high school mystery. It has a real ominous feeling. it’s also deeling with some pretty heavy topics in some really provocative ways. Racisim, homophobia and classism are all confronted in a gossip girl/PLL style plot that keeps you on edge. I am flying through it and really enjoying it. I am hoping to to finish it tonight and have my review up soon.

For The Wolf
Hannah Whitten
Wilderwood #1
eARC
This was a good read. I loved the world building, it was so detailed. I liked the expansion and twist on a red riding hood story (this seems to be in this year, lots of retellings and twists out this summer). I was hoping for a little more in terms of the plot and I am hoping the next book in the series will expand the world and magic system more

Seven Deaths of an Empire
G. R. Matthews
Physical ARC
This one is a chunky one and I think it is about time i get started on it. I have been looking forward to starting it. I haven’t dived into a proper swords and sorcery book in a while and I think I am going to really enjoy this one. It seems like it is going to be filled with intricate worldbuilding and interesting magic systems.
So that is my WWW post for this week. I will see you next Wednesday to update you. What are you reading this week? Have you finished anything lately you loved?
I would love to chat all things bookish with you! You can comment down below or find me on Twitter or Goodreads!
Happy Reading!

I’ve heard good things about For the Wolf. I’m acutally quite happy that some new fairytales get retold and I’m still rooting for my favourites to get a shot.
I also feel like there are a lot of books with card names coming out? I thought I knew Ace of Spades but apparently that’s a different book.
