WWW Wednesday – 16/6/2021

Happy Wednesday!

Its that time of the Week again! WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme that was revived by Taking on a World of Words. I like it cause it is fairly simple but allows me to check in with my reading but also with you!

WWW Wednesday asks just three questions:

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?

WHAT BOOK HAVE YOU RECENTLY FINISHED?

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU WILL READ NEXT?

Release: 17/6/2021

I have really been in the mood for a good police procedural as I have been binge watching Criminal Minds recently. So this is just perfect, and so far it is really interesting. It is set in Lisbon, Portugal which is not a country I have read a lot of books set in. It also is an alternate timeline giving it a sci-fi edge where our main character has telepathic abilities and is investigating a murder that appears to have links to others with ‘gifts’

My Review

I was recently part of the blog tour for this one and I am so glad I was. This was such an interesting read. It is a slow paced mystery that is constantly revealing secrets, twists to the plot and moments that make you second guess what is real or imaginary. I found it such an interesting concept and the more that was revealed the more and more i was drawn into the story.

Physical ARC

Release: 22/6/2021

I received a physical copy from Rebellion after Rebellion’s very own Rosie ranted and raved so much about how much she adored this one that I just had to snag a copy. I will admit to have started this one already and I have to say so far I agree with Rosie. I am really liking this one. It has a real NA, rom-com with a twist vibe to it that I am just really liking. It is definitely the next book I am dedicating all my time to so I can review it for you guys.

So that is my WWW post for this week. I will see you next Wednesday to update you. What are you reading this week? Have you finished anything lately you loved?

I would love to chat all things bookish with you! You can comment down below or find me on Twitter or Goodreads!

Happy Reading!
