This tag was first created by Ariel Bissett. I have edited out a couple of questions that no longer make sense now that we are into winter (they were very autumnal based).
Questions
ARE THERE ANY BOOKS YOU STARTED THIS YEAR THAT YOU NEED TO FINISH?
I have a whole Friday five post about this! It goes live on Friday the 10th so be sure to keep and eye out to see the top five unfinished reads I want to dive back into and finish by the end of 2021.

One that has not made the Friday Five list but is still unfinished (to my eternal Shame) is The Return of the King by J.R.R Tolkien. I am over half way through this. I started it as a buddy read way back in April and I got to the part when it switches from the Trio back to Sam and Frodo and just didn’t read on. I really need to finish it!
IS THERE A NEW RELEASE YOU’RE STILL WAITING FOR?

The Toast of Time
Jodi Taylor
Chronicles of St Mary’s #12.5
Every Year Jodi Taylor releases a Christmas Themed Short on Christmas day and Every year I preorder it, refresh my kindle at Midnight on Christmas Eve/Day and read it as I welcome in Christmas Day. Its a great little present to myself from myself and it means my Husband gets his festive lie in instead of me pestering him awake from excitement from the day. Its also the only time Taylor is nice to her characters and readers and gives them all a little break from the heartache of the last few books! Its lovely to get to see the characters have some fun in all the chaos
WHAT ARE THREE BOOKS YOU WANT TO READ BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR?
I have a full list of Five in my Friday Five Books Still on my TBR so you can check them out there.

If I do manage to finish all five of them I am hoping to pick up From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I have gorgeous Fairyloot Editions and I really need to read them. So if i manage to clear my TBR this will be top of the list.
IS THERE A BOOK YOU THINK COULD STILL SHOCK YOU AND BECOME YOUR FAVOURITE BOOK OF THE YEAR?
I think these four will make it very high up on the list when I look back at my favourites of the year. Lore Olympus, The Untold Story, A Marvellous Light, The Spirit Engineer.
