3 stars

Rating: 3 out of 5.

From Goodreads:

Torn from the world of ‘Vicious’, where death is not the end, only the beginning of extraordinary powers… Three new "EO"s must grapple with their new abilities… and with those who would hunt them down! Featuring unseen character design galleries from Andrea Olimpieri and story commentary from V.E. Schwab

My Thoughts

I was a little disappointed in this I am afraid. The art was absolutely gorgeous. I really liked the stylization and the colour palette chosen. it did an excellent job of distinguishing between flashbacks and power usage. What disappointed me as that a lot of the story felt like repetition. if you had read the novels you would have read a more detailed account of half of the graphic novel which was a long flashback into the events of the book. Therefore this felt more like a retelling than an additional story. The ending was intriguing and I will continue but I wish we got a more unique storyline.
