WWW Wednesday – 12/01/2022

Happy Wednesday!

Its that time of the Week again! WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme that was revived by Taking on a World of Words. I like it cause it is fairly simple but allows me to check in with my reading but also with you!

WWW Wednesday asks just three questions:

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?

WHAT BOOK HAVE YOU RECENTLY FINISHED?

The Key in the Lock
Beth Underdown

eARC
UK Release: 13/1/2022

I am only a few pages in to this one as I only started it this morning but I am already really intrigued. I am looking forward to getting back to it at lunch time. As I am not far in I can’t speak to any plot just yet but from the blurb it looks like it is going to be wonderfully gothic.

Battle of the Linguist Mages
Scotto Moore

eARC
Release: 11/1/2022

My Review

I really enjoyed this one it was just so much fun. It is just none stop in its pace and the narration is just great. I always know its going to be a five star read when I find myself reading sections out loud to my husband, which I did on many occasions through-out this one.

How High we go in the dark
Sequoia Nagamatsu

eARC
Release: 18/1/2022

This seems like it is going to be a hard but uplifting read after the worlds current events. It does follow the aftermath of a virus that plagued the world and various intersecting lives. I am interested to start this one and see where it takes me.

So that is my WWW post for this week. I will see you next Wednesday to update you. What are you reading this week? Have you finished anything lately you loved?

I would love to chat all things bookish with you! You can comment down below or find me on Twitter or Goodreads!

Happy Reading!

  1. Great list of books! I’m so excited to read Battle of the Linguist Mages and I think I’ve seen How High We Go in the Dark but have never really looked at what it’s about. What you’ve mentioned of it has me intrigued! Happy reading 🙂
