Over the years I have bounced around various books in the late great Terry Pratchett’s Discworld series, but I have never formally worked my way through the series and there are still a number of books I have never read.
I recently started to collect the Gollancz collector’s library hardbacks, but I would also like to make sure I am reading what I purchase so I am setting up Terry Pratchett Project.
Instead of reading in chronological publication order I have decided to follow the various subseries. This means I will jump around the in chronology a little bit. I am basing my reading around this graphic which breaks down all the different series but also gives all their connections etc.

So as this is now an official blog project I have a dedicated page, which is still under a little bit of constuction but should be ready over the weekend, where you can find all my updates and links to my mini reviews for each of the books.
Have you read your way through Discworld? What’s you favourite book or mini series? How would you go about reading it?
I would love to chat all things bookish with you! You can comment down below or find me on Twitter or Goodreads!
Happy Reading!
I have read all the Discworld novels but I did them in order of publication. I really enjoyed the challenge and my favourites are always the Watch novels. I hope you have fun.

Ooh I love those editions! I own 4 of them, but I only allow myself to buy a new one once I read the previous one I bought haha! I´m currently reading the Death series!

That is why I am starting this project as an excuse to collect them all, while also reading and enjoying them all!

I have read all of the adult ones, and I mostly read them in the order I found them in bookshops for about the first twenty, sprinkling in new ones as they came out. Pretty sure I read the first and second, then The Last Continent, followed by Pyramids and Reaper Man. Basically, all over the place, but it doesn’t seem to have affected my love for them!

I started reading them in order but even Pratchett advised against starting with Colour of Magic. I then sort of just read those that had been made into Sky TV specials, Going Postal and Hogfather. I have read Hogfather so many times but never really picked up the rest despite loving what I had read. It is time to change that!

Hogfather is a great one though, I remember getting that as a Christmas present in my stocking one year and being so happy! Going Postal was late stage greatness too. Looking forward to seeing you tick the rest off your list!
