I was so excited for this sequel and so far it is not disappointing. I am loving being back with Ropa and the gang and learning so much more about this version of magical version of Edinburgh. I still have a bit to finish this one but I think I am going to race through it as its so much fun!

Ahhhhhhh! I finished this last night and I loved it. It is a V.E Schwab book inside and out with its morally grey characters and gorgeous deep world building. My review will be live on release day as I have a few book tours in between. Until then the take home is its an awesome read!

This book just sounds like a book worms dreams, a City run by poets filled with towering libraries… I can’t wait to get lots in it. There is also talk of lots of political machinations which just ticks another box for me.
