This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is Comfort Reads. For me Comfort reads are books I reach for when I am in a reading slump, books I read time and time again and never get board of. The books I can pick up and open to any page and know exactly what is happening. Some of them are series, some of them are stand alone but all of them I adore.
As I have talked about most of these books time and time again I am just going to list them.

Night Circus – Erin Morgenstern
Sabriel – Garth Nix
Rivers of London Series – Ben Aaronovich
Chronicles of St Mary’s – Jodi Taylor
Old Man’s War Series – John Scalzi
Murderbot Series – Martha Wells
Hercule Poirot Series – Agatha Christie
Ms Marple Series – Agatha Christie
Discworld (particularly the City Watch and Witches sub series) – Terry Pratchett
One Fine Day in The Middle of the Night – Christopher Brookmyre
So those are my ten picks that I have chosen. Like I said above most of these are books i have read over and over again as they just bring me joy. Some are funny, some I just know I am going to have a good read. Some I just love to revisit as they are so well written and I love the characters or setting.
I would love to chat all things bookish with you! You can comment down below or find me on Twitter or Goodreads!
Happy Reading!
