WWW Wednesday – 8/6/2022

Happy Wednesday!

Its that time of the Week again! WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme that was revived by Taking on a World of Words. I like it cause it is fairly simple but allows me to check in with my reading but also with you!

WWW Wednesday asks just three questions:

The Hunting Party
Lucy Foley

As I said in my Mini Holiday TBR post I do love to read a good mystery while I am away on holiday and also that cannot resist an airport bookshop! There is something so alluring about them. So of course I had to purchase a book despite having my kindle and another book with me. However I am so glad I did I am loving this one. I have read a couple of Foley’s other mysteries and this one is feeling it might be my favourite so far I am really enjoying how it is all unfolding. I only have about 100 pages left and its exciting!!!

Death at La Fenice
Donna Leon

Commissario Brunetti #1

I picked this on my Holiday Mini TBR as it was set in Venice the city I was visiting and I really loved the experience of reading this in situ and being able to walk past all the areas discussed. It added more to the experience of the book. I enjoyed this it had a rather dark and unexpected twist and Brunetti was a really interesting character. I think I will continue with the series (all 37 of them!)

For the Throne
Hannah Whitten

Wilderwood #2

I need to play catch up on my ARCs for this month. I basically ignored them while I was on holiday so I have a few now that I am behind on. This is a real anticipated read for me so I am eager to get started once I finish the Hunting party.

So that is my WWW post for this week. I will see you next Wednesday to update you. What are you reading this week? Have you finished anything lately you loved?

I would love to chat all things bookish with you! You can comment down below or find me on Twitter or Goodreads!

Happy Reading!
