WWW Wednesday – 22/06/22

Happy Wednesday!

Its that time of the Week again! WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme that was revived by Taking on a World of Words. I like it cause it is fairly simple but allows me to check in with my reading but also with you!

WWW Wednesday asks just three questions:

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?

WHAT BOOK HAVE YOU RECENTLY FINISHED?

Eight Detectives
A
lex Pavesi

Still on my Crime/Mystery/Thriller kick and using it to #BeatTheBacklog and finally clear some books off of my TBR pile. I know many people that have read this book and have enjoyed it. I have to admit it was not quite what I expected but I am really enjoying the structure and how we are moving between stories. I like that we are getting to explore the different types of detective fiction.

Twelve Percent Dread
Emily McGovern

Physical ARC
Release Date: 23/6/22
Blog Tour: 24/6/22

I am so excited to be part of the Blog Tour for Emily McGovern’s new Graphic novel. I was a huge fan of Bloodlust and Bonnets and while this one is very different taking on the strains and troubles of modern life it is just as entertaining. I love McGovern’s art style and the wit she brings to her work. My full spoiler free review will be live on the 24th.

The Apollo Murders
Chris Hadfield

AudioARC

I was granted an Audio ARC of Col. Chris Hadfield’s Thriller. Who better to write a space race mystery than an astronaut! As I am in such a Mystery/Thriller mood I thought I would clear this one off of my review books back log. I should be able to get through it over the next few days while I am working.

So that is my WWW post for this week. I will see you next Wednesday to update you. What are you reading this week? Have you finished anything lately you loved?

I would love to chat all things bookish with you! You can comment down below or find me on Twitter or Goodreads!

Happy Reading!
