WWW Wednesday – 29/6/2022

Happy Wednesday!

Its that time of the Week again! WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme that was revived by Taking on a World of Words. I like it cause it is fairly simple but allows me to check in with my reading but also with you!

WWW Wednesday asks just three questions:

The Island
M.A. Bennet

I am reading this as part of my Lowest rated TBR books project, I am reserving judgement till I have finished it. But so far it is hmmmmm, I am am not loving it so far. There are a lot of moments even in the first few chapters that have me gritting my teeth. There are lots of stereotypes that are just rubbing me the wrong way and it is taking what feels like an age to get into the story. We will see how a feel about it in my review but so far its not looking positive.

Siren Queen
Nghi Vo

I finished this last night, and I am still trying to pull my thoughts together but oh it is such an engaging read. Pre-code Hollywood mixed with really subtle magical elements I just couldnt put it down. I had to know how it all played out. I will try and pull my thoughts into something more that ‘oh wow’ and review this shortly.

A Pocket Full of Rye
Agatha Christie

Ms Marple #7

Its coming to the end of the Month and I think I am most likely going to finish The Island today so I decided my next read should be something quick and something I know I am going to enjoy to end June on a high. I have big plans for July, which I will post about soon. So I thought diving back into a Ms Marple would be my best bet to squeeze one last read into june and be ready for July!

So that is my WWW post for this week. I will see you next Wednesday to update you. What are you reading this week? Have you finished anything lately you loved?

I would love to chat all things bookish with you! You can comment down below or find me on Twitter or Goodreads!

Happy Reading!
