My Thoughts
This was just beautiful. I adored that it was based on a real project, but with a darker and fantastical twist. I am not a huge fan of Cli-Fi I feel a lot of it can be very samey but this one really did something different for me. The writing was gorgeous. The love story also was just so captivating and how it weaved into the the idea of the future library and how it would look in a dystopian setting is just so interesting.
This was just a beautiful way to spend a Saturday morning with my coffee. It left me with just sadness and joy at humanity. It left you with stuff to think about and was just such a powerful short story.
It also spurred me to look into The real Future library Project. It is such an interesting and wonderful art project you can read more about it HERE
