The 14th is July’s Read your face of 24hr readathon hosted by Riley, as well as the start of the 2018 summer round of Biannual Bibliothon.
Read you face off starts at 9am in your time zone on the 14th and runs for 24 hours with its goal just to read as much as you can.
The summer round of Biannual Bibliothon starts at midnight on the 14th and runs till 11.59pm on the 21st. It has video challenges, Instagram challenges, blog challenges and reading challenges. Due to my work schedule I will only be participating in the reading challenges.

3. Try the first chapter of 3 books and pick 1

5. Read a predicted 5 star read
6. Own voices – different than YOU
7. Read the last book you bought
My TBR
Read the Group book: The Wicked deep by Shea Ernshaw– COMPLETED
I have actually already read this book. I read it during my reading slump back in May. As it was so recent I won’t be rereading it but I may look back and my reading notes and write my review.
Choose from someone else’s TBR and Read the last book you bought : The Poppy War by R. F. Kuang
It seemed like everyone was reading this for Tome Topple and giving it great reviews. I just couldn’t resist so I have bought the book and I am very much looking forward to reading this book. i hope it lives up to the hype.
Read a book that has been on your TBR for over a year: Carve the Mark by Veronica Roth
I was bought this as a gift when it first came out but i had just DNF’d Allegiant due its bad bad science (I am not going to get into that rant). So this book went on the shelf and has never made its way onto a TBR. So I think this is a good reason to finally get to it.
Read a predicted 5 star read: Shadowblack by Sebastian de Castell
As you can tell from my review of Spellslinger I really enjoyed the start to this series. I am enjoying both Castell’s YA and Adult series. I predict this will be a 5 star read as the story is moving away from Kellen’s mage schools troubles and into the more mysterious world beyond the Kellen’s home.
Own voices – different than YOU and Read your face off: Binti: The Night Masquerade
I have been meaning to finish this series for a long time. The first two Novella’s have been 5 stars. The series is Afro-futurism Sci-fi which so far have been elegant examples of how Sci-fi should be. I am both looking forward to reading this as well as sad for the end of the series.
Try the first chapter of 3 books and pick 1 and Read your face off: The Mermaid/Lost Boy/The Red Queen all by Christina Henry
This is such an interesting challenge and perfect for Read your face off too. I am going read each of the first chapters on the 14th, pick one to finish. I hope to read all of these books in July so what ever two choose will be moved onto my last week of July TBR.
Are you participating in these readathons? What is on your TBR?
Happy reading!
