WWW Wednesday 23/12/20

Happy Christmas Eve Eve!!! I have such a busy day today so i am squeezing in this post while I can. Today I am doing all the prep for Christmas dinner. I don’t like having to spend all my day cooking on Christmas day so I prep everything I can today and tomorrow meaning it just needs to be put in the oven and enjoy my day. We don’t have a conventional Christmas dinner (as I don’t like turkey) so that makes it easier to pre-prep and just have it in the fridge and then we can just put it on and eat whenever we get hungry. I am very excited for the big day and just doing nothing and enjoying myself.

Happy Wednesday!

Its that time of the Week again! WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme that was revived by Taking on a World of Words. I like it cause it is fairly simple but allows me to check in with my reading but also with you!

WWW Wednesday asks just three questions:

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?

WHAT BOOK HAVE YOU RECENTLY FINISHED?

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU WILL READ NEXT?

Hogfather
Terry Pratchett

Discworld #20, Death #4

I am very close to finishing my re-read of this one. I have said so many times how much I love Pratchett’s writing and this just perfectly captures the British Christmas traditions. I am hoping to finish it this evening so I can re-watch the TV mini series tomorrow as for me it is quintessential Christmas viewing.

The Girl Who could move Sh*t with her Mind
Jackson Ford

The Girl Who Could Move Sh*t with her Mind

This was book 2 for my 12 Books over Christmas TBR. It took me a bit longer to finish this one as I was finishing off a couple of other group reads and the last of my arcs/blog tour books. Now I am on holiday I have managed to finish it and I really enjoyed it, and will be continuing with the series. It was really fun and read a bit like an American dramady TV series in its pacing and intrigue.

Across the Nightingale Floor
Lian Hearn

This is the sneak peak as I have not revealed book three of 12 Books of Christmas on my Instagram yet. This is actually from Euan’s book collection and not from my TBR shelves. He really enjoyed this series and has been trying to get me to read it for a while so has snuck it into this collection on 12 books so I would actually start it. I really have no idea what this is about going in so it should be interesting.

So that is my WWW post for this week. I will see you next Wednesday to update you. What are you reading this week? Have you finished anything lately you loved?

I would love to chat all things bookish with you! You can comment down below or find me on Twitter or Goodreads!

Happy Reading!
