WWW Wednesday – 13/1/2021

We are slowly creaking closer to half way through January 2021 and hopefully half way through the current set of lockdowns here in the UK (fingers crossed). I have to say I have dug into my reading over the past week finishing 2 novels and 3 short-story/novellas in the past few days. Thats probably because the weather here is Scotland over the past weekend has been freezing and I have just wanted to stay snuggled up with a book.

Happy Wednesday!

Its that time of the Week again! WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme that was revived by Taking on a World of Words. I like it cause it is fairly simple but allows me to check in with my reading but also with you!

WWW Wednesday asks just three questions:

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?

WHAT BOOK HAVE YOU RECENTLY FINISHED?

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU WILL READ NEXT?

Clockwork Princess
Cassandra Clare

The infernal Devices book #3

Shadowhunter Saturdays

Yes! after weeks (months) of saying I am going to read this I actually opened the book and started reading. As usual I am reading this with Ellie from Read to Ramble so we have split it up into sections and I am nearly through section number one.

The Song Rising
Samantha Shannon

The Bone Season #3

I started this right back in the first of January read 40 pages then got side tracked by all my other reads so I am back to finish this. I am enjoying it so far. it is a lost sharper and quicker paced than the Mime Order was, I am enjoying the direction which this book seems to be going and cant wait to finish.

The Murder of Roger Ackroyd
Agatha Christie

Hercule Poirot #4

TWR gang book club

This was a re-read for me as it is my favourite Poirot of the books I have read. I can’t wait till the group discuss it on Sunday to get the reactions of all the other group members who haven’t read it before. This has inspired me to restart and really stick too my Christie Project where I am to read all 66 of Christies Mystery books.

Secrets of the Starcrossed
Clara O’Connor

The Once and Future Queen #1

eARC

I need to get a move on with this one to get my review written in time for it’s release next week. The premise of Roman London and Celtic magic seems promising but the reviews I have been seeing have been very mixed. Going in with an open mind and I will let you know what I think next week!

So that is my WWW post for this week. I will see you next Wednesday to update you. What are you reading this week? Have you finished anything lately you loved?

I would love to chat all things bookish with you! You can comment down below or find me on Twitter or Goodreads!

Happy Reading!
