WWW Wednesday – 26/1/2022

The last reading catch up for January its soon time to set out sights on those February TBRs, but there still might be time for another book or two in January!

Happy Wednesday!

Its that time of the Week again! WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme that was revived by Taking on a World of Words. I like it cause it is fairly simple but allows me to check in with my reading but also with you!

WWW Wednesday asks just three questions:

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?

WHAT BOOK HAVE YOU RECENTLY FINISHED?

The Iron King
Julie Kagawa

The Iron Fey #1

Friend picks my TBR

I finished a few books last night so this morning was time to pick a new read for my lunch break and this evening. From the first chapter I can tell this is probably going to be quite a classic YA, but as it dates from rise of YA era, 2010, it can bee forgiven. I think this may be what I call a cheeseburger book, its not necessarily good but damn it the all too familiar tropes and little bit cheesy dialogue are just plain fun!

A Fatal Crossing
Tom Hindle

My Review

I have been in a real mystery mood this month and It has been really fortunate that this month was a bit of a powerhouse of mystery releases. This debut definitely stood out from the crowd really capturing the Golden era of Crime fiction in its style and pacing. I really enjoyed how this one played out.

These Deadly Games
Diana Urban

eARC
Release: 2/1/2022

Want to get a head start on my February Arcs especially as this one is out on the 1st. I enjoyed Urban’s last book All your twisted secrets so I am interested to see how this one plays out as it seems a lot darker!

So that is my WWW post for this week. I will see you next Wednesday to update you. What are you reading this week? Have you finished anything lately you loved?

I would love to chat all things bookish with you! You can comment down below or find me on Twitter or Goodreads!

Happy Reading!
