I stared a new series TBR series in 2022, one is my State of the ARC posts. I will do two posts a month; a State of the ARC TBR post and a State of the ARC Wrap up post.
These State of the ARC posts are to keep me accountable on all the ARCs I am so privileged to receive. I want to get that Netgalley rating back up to the coveted 80% as well as tell you all about some of the amazing books that are coming out each month.
This is my monthly Wrap up, its aim is to see if I read and reviewed the books on my list, how many new ARCs I received and if I managed to bump up that Netgalley percentage in any way.
On the 1st of Feb 2022 my Netgalley percentage was 55%

At the End of the Month my Netgalley Percentage is:
56 %
I read and reviewed :
8 ARCs
I was accepted to read:
4 New ARCs
That is a net of +4! One of the four gave me a head start on next months ARCs too. March is a crazy month for ARCs I have a lot of physical ARCs that don’t necessarily count towards me percentage too. But April is looking a lot quieter at the moment so will hopefully give me time to catch up on my backlog and add more to the percentage.
I also have 1 arc that I am still reading and hopefully I can finish that tonight! Maybe nibbling a little more off the presentage.

About the book:
It should have been the perfect summer. Sent to stay with her late mother’s eccentric family in London, sixteen-year-old Joan is determined to enjoy herself. She loves her nerdy job at the historic Holland House, and when her super cute co-worker Nick asks her on a date, it feels like everything is falling into place.
But she soon learns the truth. Her family aren’t just eccentric: they’re monsters, with terrifying, hidden powers. And Nick isn’t just a cute boy: he’s a legendary monster slayer, who will do anything to bring them down.
As she battles Nick, Joan is forced to work with the beautiful and ruthless Aaron Oliver, heir to a monster family that hates her own. She’ll have to embrace her own monstrousness if she is to save herself, and her family. Because in this story . . .
. . . she is not the hero.
My Thoughts so Far
I am really really enjoying this one. It is such an easy read, really engaging and fun. I don’t have much left to read so hopefully will finish it tonight.
I would love to chat all things bookish with you! You can comment down below or find me on Twitter or Goodreads!
