WWW Wednesday 30/12/20

Its the last Wednesday of the year so my last WWW Wednesday post of the year. I will be continuing into 2021 but for these last few days in 2020 this is what I will be reading.

Happy Wednesday!

Its that time of the Week again! WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme that was revived by Taking on a World of Words. I like it cause it is fairly simple but allows me to check in with my reading but also with you!

WWW Wednesday asks just three questions:

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?

WHAT BOOK HAVE YOU RECENTLY FINISHED?

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU WILL READ NEXT?

A Perfect Storm and other Short Stories
Jodi Taylor

Chronicles of St Mary’s #8.5 (#8.6 and #8.1)

As I am not quite ready to leave St Mary’s quite yet I have decided to read the short stories that take place between Book 8 and Book 9 in preparation for starting Book 9 first thing on January first. I have finished story #8.1 which was just a quick 10 page freebie on Jodi Taylors website and I have just started A Perfect storm which is included in the short story anthology The long and the Short of it and once I have finished that I will be reading A Christmas Past which is another one of the Christmas mini adventures which I have as part of the anthology Long Story Short.

And the Rest is History
Jodi Taylor

Chronicles of St Mary’s #8

Oh this one is really different it had me on the edge of my seat from word go and poor Max has been taking a real thrashing in this one. Poor Peterson, I just wanted to climb into the book and hug him. I have been in almost tears for Max and the members of St Mary’s the whole way through. It is honestly one of the best of the series and I will have and I will have to dive straight into book 9 in the new year. Its a shame I had already put together my best books of the year post when I finished this as this would have been quite high up the list.

I am not going to pick a next read just yet as I want to have a fresh slate for New years. I do still have another couple of books I am in the middle off at the moment that I am hoping I can finish off before new year. With two days to read I am sure I can finish at least one of them. Tomorrow is my 2020 bookish wrap up post, with my 2021 Goals post, January TBR post to follow.
I also need to finish laying out my bullet journal so I can post my yearly setup flip through for you, so I have a busy couple of days.

So that is my WWW post for this week. I will see you next Wednesday to update you. What are you reading this week? Have you finished anything lately you loved?

I would love to chat all things bookish with you! You can comment down below or find me on Twitter or Goodreads!

Happy Reading!
