Happy Wednesday!
Its that time of the Week again! WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme that was revived by Taking on a World of Words. I like it cause it is fairly simple but allows me to check in with my reading but also with you!
WWW Wednesday asks just three questions:
WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?
WHAT BOOK HAVE YOU RECENTLY FINISHED?
WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU WILL READ NEXT?

Murder Before Evensong
Rev Richard Coles
A Canon Clement Mystery #1
I am reserving judgement on this one so far. It isn’t quite the read I was expecting. The writing is just a little bit more flowery and the pace a lot slower than I really want from a book like this. I want snappy dialogue and fast paced mystery set against the cozy background but this is needs a bit more attention to the tangents and while I am 100 pages in we still haven’t even scraped the surface of the actual murder.

A Cornish Christmas Murder
Fiona Leitch
Nosey Parker Mysteries #4
I really enjoyed this. It was a real slump buster for me. I loved the humour and the characters and I am definitely adding the other books in the series to my 2023 TBR shelf as I know I am going to want to read them.

Hard Time
Jodi Taylor
Time Police #2
I am catching up with the Time Police series and really looking forward to this years Christmas short story from Jodi Taylor so I want to get to book 2 in the series ASAP. While the blurb talks of Versailles and the Ice Age the cover gives me Ancient Egypt vibes too so this one should be exciting.
So that is my WWW post for this week. I will see you next Wednesday to update you. What are you reading this week? Have you finished anything lately you loved?
I would love to chat all things bookish with you! You can comment down below or find me on Twitter or Goodreads!
Happy Reading!
I was disappointed by Murder Before Evensong. I felt that it dragged and I didn’t really enjoy the writing style. I love the Nosey Parker books though
