Its the time of the year where we start reflecting back on the year that is coming to an end and for book bloggers that means assessing all the books we have read over the course of the year. I will be doing a full year end wrap up in a couple of days but I wanted to do a post that celebrated all my favourite reads of the year.
I have had a HUGE amount of 5 star reads this year, too many to discuss every single one in this post. So I have decided to list my top 22 reads of this year. The are in chronological order of when I read them. If you are interested in knowing more about any of these books I have included my review with them, which also gives links to the Goodreads page for each book.

This will be my first review of 2023!
As you can see it has been a massive year for Five Star reads! There are even more on my list but these were my favourite. Most of them come from the first half of 2022 but that is probably due to me hitting a reading slump after having Covid in August. There are definitely a few I can’t wait to re-read.
Tomorrow I will have my full yearly wrap up for you so you can see everything I read in 2022 and if I met my goals.
I would love to chat all things bookish with you! You can comment down below or find me on Twitter or Goodreads!
Happy Reading!
Lovely to have so many books that you have really loved. Let’s hope that 2023 is just as good
